Ms. Miller has extensive consulting experience, ranging from executive searches to short term placements, employee manual preparation and process development. She has offered her services to a variety of non-profit and for-profit entities that include hospitals, manufacturing facilities, national non-profit organizations, educational facilities and numerous large and small businesses.
Facilitator certifications include Team Awareness Training (Institute of Behavioral Research), Knowledge for Success Training (Molitor International Training Initiative), PX2 Investment in Excellence Training for both youth and adults (The Pacific Institute), John Maxwell University, and Infinite Possibilities (TUT Adventures Club). Ms. Miller has participated in local, regional, state and federal volunteer work with non-profits. She has chaired numerous professional non-profit boards including the National Small Business Association and the Small Business Association of Michigan. She is also very active in her local community, serving on boards for community and civic organizations such as Midland Morning Rotary, Pulse 3 Foundation, MidMichigan Home Care, Saginaw County Business and Education Partnership, Bay Area Women’s Center and many others. She has championed change throughout her career. Ms. Miller authored the book “The Road from Despair to Solvency” which was published in 2012. Honors and awards given to Sharon Miller include the Great Women of the Great Lakes Bay Region, the George Olson Award for Exceptional Service (Rotary), induction into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame, the Distinguished Woman Award, the Small Business Advocate of the Year, the Athena Award of Excellence and the American Business Women’s Association’s Employer of the Year award. She was given Success Magazine’s Great Comeback Award and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss business turnaround. Sharon Miller is the Owner and President of ITH Staffing of Michigan, based in Midland, Michigan. In addition, Ms. Miller performs Small Business Consulting, Business Mentoring, Executive Coaching, Employee Training, and Human Resource Consulting. Employee training topics include Communication, Team Work, Creative Thinking, Stress in the Workplace and Customer Service. She is also a coach for the Young Entrepreneur Academy. |
