Production/General Labor (Bay City Area)
Job description
Position located in the Bay City Area
·Perform duties as assigned to Company policies and procedures to result in the production of safe, quality food that will conform to customer specifications.
·Notify foreman of unusual conditions, mechanical issues and/or foreign objects sighted at workstation.
·Maintain a clean work and operable work area throughout the shift and as well to release incoming shift.
·Remain at work station unless properly relieved
·Inspecting and sorting debris before processing
·Must be able to move quickly to sort, pack, fold, &/or transfer at different workstations.
·Must be able to walk up/down stairs. Walking and standing of a height up to 12 feet
·Visually inspect and hand inspect pouches for leaks and seam seal for integrity
·Must move quickly to keeps lines moving when product pushing and packing
·Walking and standing for a period up to 4 hours
·Repetitive hand/arm movements up of to 4 hours
· Must be able to climb, bend, walk, and lift object up to 40-50 pounds.
· Team environment performing production tasks in a food processing facility. Working in wet conditions that includes odors, magnets, and metal detectors
· Must utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
-Complete Pre-operations checklist and verify Operation readiness.
-Must be at least 18, be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
1st Shift 6:30am-3:30pm $12.50 per hour & 2nd Shift $13.50 per hour
