Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing and supporting company's computer systems. Designs and installs Local Area Network (LANs) (physical & virtual), Wide Area Network (WANs), Internet & Intranet, Firewall, telecommunication Systems and network segments. Provides all support to end users for hardware and/or software requirements including installation and setup of office equipment. Develops and implements policies, procedures and work standards to provide data processing and management information/reporting services to the organization. Performs various information systems functions, including IT network and systems security requirements. Provides data integrity and disaster recovery planning and implementation, including regulatory compliance. Monitors and manages email spam filters, firewalls and anti-virus systems and reduces vulnerability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of IT administration required
- Superior knowledge of equipment capabilities and operations, including facility utilization, technical problem resolution, software and system functions, vendor negotiations and user requirements required
- Demonstrated technical expertise in all database administrative functions
