Community Connections Liaison (Gladwin)

A non-profit organization advocating for people with disabilities, is hiring an individual to work full time (40 hours/week), as a Community Connections Liaison. This position supports outreach efforts and partnership building in our catchment area.
The primary job functions of this position include:
· Attend community meetings and events as assigned.
· Identify potential partnership opportunities.
· Promote us at community events.
· Facilitate discussions with community members, persons supported, and other relevant groups.
· Coordinates activities and events independently.
· Assist in coordinating logistics for our events/projects.
· Actively and intentionally connect with assigned partners and groups.
· Work cooperatively with partner agencies, our personnel, and persons served.
The ideal candidate will be self-directed, organized, and experienced in issues relating to collaboration with others and advocacy efforts on behalf of people with disabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field is preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered. Travel is required with mileage reimbursed. $18 per hour.
