Business Development Specialist (Midland)

As a Business Development Specialist your job includes, but is not limited to:
 
·         Working closely with the Director of Business Development to grow and progress the sales program
·         Qualifying and responding to incoming leads generated through the website, incoming calls, eBlasts & referrals
·         Scheduling online consultations with current & potential clients
·         Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
·         Using Zoho CRM to manage leads, accounts, contacts, deals, forecasting, etc.
·         Assist with creating detailed quotes and proposals for clients
·         Collaborating with the Director of Business Development on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
·         Helping to meet monthly and yearly sales goals
·         Provide support to the Marketing Manager on projects such as developing sales strategies, marketing campaigns and social media campaigns
·         Assist with identifying marketing trends and opportunities for growth
·         Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Business Development team
 
Business Development Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
·         We are looking for a career minded individual who would like to grow with our company and progress into an executive role.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers from a wide variety of backgrounds and industries/organizations.
·         Experience with lead generation and prospect management
·         Occasional availability outside normal business hours to work with international clients
·         Occasional travel required: in-person client meetings, trade shows, and conferences
·         Consultative and persuasive sales approach
·         Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
·         Able to communicate with clients professionally and confidently
·         Excellent analytical and time-management skills
·         Ability to work both independently and as an active member of a team
·         Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Online collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, as well as company software.
Desired to have
·         Bachelor’s degree
·         Some prior sales experience desired
·         Demonstrated and proven sales results
·         Software SaaS sales experience
·         CRM experience
·         B2B sales experience (experience in heavy industries such as petrochemical, discrete manufacturing and food and beverage is a plus).
Full time, $20 per hour.
