Assembler (Pinconning)
The Assembler performs the tasks associated with both mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies in the final assembly of equipment for products. The assembly role maintains, tests, and repairs assemblies following completion of assembled units. This role requires some machinery trade knowledge for the production of precision parts and assemblies. This position reports to the Production Manager.
-Assemble Equipment to engineering drawings, schematics, and company standards, based on work orders or production schedules
-Perform quality checks on products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications
-Position or align components for assembly
-Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies
-Fasten or install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand/electric/pneumatic tools
-Layout and sometimes manufacture precision parts involved with assemblies and sub-assemblies
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment through a continued program of daily sweeping and general cleaning
Requirements:
-One-three years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of position
-Mechanical or electrical work experience
-Moderate knowledge of general manufacturing with good mechanical aptitude
-Relies on verbal and written instructions and pre-established guidelines
-Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement
-Must maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to analyze product line assembly efficiency
First Shift, Full Time, M-F 6:00am Start Time
